Before You Begin
You must already be registered for your DraftKings contests. If you haven’t done this yet, see our separate tutorial.
This process uses the DraftKings website in a mobile browser, not the DraftKings app. Make sure you can log in via browser.
Select the Slate
Open SaberSim on your phone via app.sabersim.com
Click the date window to open the slate selector and choose the correct slate (e.g., MLB Main Slate).
Upload Your Entries File
Tap the upload button at the top of the screen.
Select Download Template File from DraftKings.
This will open DraftKings in your mobile browser.
If you are not logged in, you’ll be prompted to log in at this step.
Download the entries file to your phone.
Back in SaberSim, tap Select File.
On most phones, you’ll want to choose an option like Photos and Videos, Media Picker, or My Files—anything that lets you browse your storage.
Look for the file in Recent files or in your Downloads folder.
Tap the DraftKings entries file to upload it.
Once uploaded, SaberSim will recognize your contests (you can verify this in the upper left under “Contests”).
Build Lineups
Tap Build to start building lineups.
DraftKings requires at least two changes to player projections before you can build.
Make the edits, and tap Go/Enter after each change to confirm them.
Tap Build Lineups again and wait for the process to complete.
After building, contest sims will kick off automatically (Starter plan and above) followed by the Portfolio Diversifier.
Review Lineup Groups
SaberSim automatically creates lineup groups for each contest you entered.
An extra “My Lineups” group may also appear with unused lineups.
To delete it: long-press on the lineup group name, then tap the trash can icon.
You can switch between Projections and Lineups at the bottom of the app, or expand lineup groups to view your lineups.
Save and Export to DraftKings
Tap the Save button in the upper right. A success message will appear.
Tap the green Download icon in the main navigation.
This will download a new entries file to your phone.
SaberSim will automatically open the correct DraftKings page in your mobile browser (if you have “Open DFS site on download” toggled on in settings).
In DraftKings (browser):
Scroll right until you see Upload CSV.
Tap Upload CSV and choose the saved file (usually found in Recent files or Downloads).
DraftKings will confirm that your lineups were uploaded successfully.
Troubleshooting Tips
Lineups not showing correctly?
Re-download and re-upload a fresh entries file from DraftKings, then start a new build with default settings (no custom rules or exposures).
