Before You Begin

  • You must already be registered for your DraftKings contests. If you haven’t registered yet, see our separate tutorial on how to do this.

  • Make sure you’re logged into both SaberSim and DraftKings.

  • If you’re on the Ultimate plan, Contest Sims will automatically run during this process.

Select the Correct Slate

  1. In SaberSim, use the slate selector to choose the slate you want to play.

Upload Your Entries File

  1. In the upper left, click the upload button.

  2. Select Download Template File from DraftKings.

  3. Save the file to your computer.

  4. Drag and drop or upload the saved entries file back into SaberSim via the same window.

This entries file tells SaberSim which contests you’re entered in for the selected slate. Once uploaded, SaberSim will automatically recognize your contests.

Build Lineups

  1. Make two adjustments to player projections to comply with DraftKings rules.

  2. Click Build Lineups.

  3. If you're on the Starter Plan or above, Contest Sims will start automatically, followed by the Diversifier.

Review Lineup Groups

Once builds and sims are complete, SaberSim organizes your lineups into lineup groups. The Default setting is one lineup group per contest you are playing.

At this stage, you may adjust player exposures, apply lineup filters, and rebuild if necessary.

Save and Export Lineups

  1. Click Save All to lock in your lineups for each group.

  2. SaberSim will generate a new entries file.

  3. Download the file from the upper left.

  4. DraftKings will open automatically if you have Open DFS Site on Download toggled on. Otherwise, navigate to https://www.draftkings.com/entry/upload

Troubleshooting Tips

  • Lineups not uploading correctly?

    • Re-upload a fresh entries file from DraftKings at any time.

    • Then, create a new build in SaberSim using the updated file.

  • Still having trouble?
