Before You Begin
You must already be entered into your FanDuel contests. If you haven’t registered yet, see our separate tutorial on how to do this.
Step 1: Select the Correct Slate
Open SaberSim.
Use the slate selector to find the slate you want to play.
If you don’t see the slate selector, click the Add Slate button in the upper left.
Step 2: Upload Your Entries File
Click Upload Entries for This Slate in the upper left.
Choose Download Template File from FanDuel.
This will open the Upcoming tab on FanDuel.
Click CSV Edit on FanDuel, then click Download CSV Template.
Save the file to your computer.
Drag and drop the entries file back into SaberSim.
This entries file tells SaberSim which contests you’ve entered for the selected slate.
Step 3: Build Lineups
Click Build Lineups.
(Optional) Adjust projections or exposures before building.
In this example, we’re building without changes.
Once your lineups are built. Contest Sims will automatically run (Starter plan and above).
SaberSim diversifies your lineup pool to ensure a strong, balanced portfolio.
Step 4: Review Lineup Groups
After building and diversification:
SaberSim automatically creates a lineup group for each contest you are playing.
One additional lineup group with 150 unassigned lineups is also created.
In most cases, you can safely delete this extra group.
At this stage, you may adjust player exposures, apply lineup filters, and rebuild if necessary.
Step 5: Save and Export to FanDuel
Click Save All to save lineups to their assigned contest groups. A success message will appear in the upper right.
Download the new entries file for FanDuel.
Return to FanDuel, click CSV Edit again, and upload the new entries file.
Refresh the Upcoming tab in FanDuel to confirm that your lineups are entered correctly.
Troubleshooting Tips
Lineups not showing up correctly?
Re-upload a fresh entries file from FanDuel, then upload it to SaberSim again.
