How do I download SaberSim lineups and upload them into Yahoo contests?

Written by Jordan Chand

Download your entries file from Yahoo, upload it to SaberSim, build, save, then upload SaberSim's entries file back on Yahoo's Edit Entries page.

On desktop

  1. Register for your contests on Yahoo first.

  2. In SaberSim, pick the slate with Yahoo selected as the site.

  3. Click Upload Entries and choose Download Template File from Yahoo. Drag the file into SaberSim.

  4. Double check that you have Contest Sim settings if you are on Ultimate.

  5. Click Build Lineups.

  6. Click Save All.

  7. Download the entries file. SaberSim opens the right Yahoo page.

  8. On Yahoo, click Browse, choose the file, and click Upload and Edit Entries.

On mobile

Yahoo is easier on a computer. On a phone, it works, with one extra step.

  1. Open Yahoo DFS in your phone's browser and switch the browser to Desktop Site in its settings. The mobile view doesn't show the controls you need.

  2. Go to Contests, then Upcoming, scroll right, and tap Edit Entries.

  3. Find the slate and tap Download CSV Template.

  4. Open SaberSim and pick the slate.

  5. Tap the Upload Entries button. Tap Select File, and find the download under Recent or Downloads.

  6. Tap Build. When it finishes, expand a lineup group to confirm it has lineups. If there are no groups, check that Direct Fill or One Group Per Contest has the green check in Templates, and tap one if not.

  7. Tap Save.

  8. Tap the success message, or the green button, to download the new entries file.

  9. Back on Yahoo under My Contests, Upcoming, Edit Entries, tap Choose File, pick the SaberSim file, and tap Upload and Edit Entries. Yahoo tells you how many lineups it detected. Refresh Upcoming to confirm.
